157,800 HOURS – THE STORY OF TWO LOST BROTHERS 17,700 KILOMETERS APART

18 years ago [157,800 hours] I was separated from my brother, Arthur (Artur).

I was placed within the Foster Care system in New Zealand, whereas my brother, in 2008 was sent home to Ukraine by our estranged mother. I lost contact with him, until 2014. We reconnected online, then kept a relationship online til this day.

In 2022, the Ukrainian war started. We tried to get my brother out of Ukraine. But failed.

After 4 years of war, I started to give up hope that I would see my brother again.

In August 2026, I traveled to Europe for work. My first real opportunity to go see him again.

Now, September 2nd as I write this, I prep to travel to Ukraine tomorrow, to see my brother again after 18 years.

To finally be reunited and right the wrong that was done to us. Separating us.

I am filming a documentary, called 157800 hours to share our story.
